Avoid the bite
When drilling into a Perspex sheet with a standard drill bit, you’ll often find that it cracks or even breaks the sheet, ruining your work. I’ve found that substituting a masonry bit to drill these holes (specifically, M3, M4, M5 and M6 sizes) solves this problem. The standard drill bit tends to bite into the material, whereas the masonry bit does not.
