Here’s how to dress a grindstone the cheap and simple way, with a used diamond cutting blade. Switch on the grinder, hold the blade flat and slowly turn it against the stone, moving it from left to right. Use the same method to dress the sides of the stone, holding the blade upright and slowly rotating it. Result: a grindstone that’s as good as new.
