Overhead toolrack

Pneumatic tools take up plenty of space in a toolbox, far more than hand tools, which generally lie flat in a relatively shallow drawer. So I came up with this rack for hanging tools in the PM workshop. It’s just an off-the-shelf kitchen pot rack, not modified in any way. I suspended it so I can walk under it and not worry about banging my head, but it’s not so high that I can’t reach it easily – your height may vary. A lot of tools will hang easily enough by their own handles. A few, like the cordless drill, have a belt hook. And for a few others, I simply bent a slightly-greater-than-90-degree angle into a big fender washer and screwed the air-line fitting through it. The fender washer doesn’t get in the way at all, and I’ve never had anything jump free.
