Rather be safe than sorry

Digital keypads add high-tech versatility to the safe’s primary task of providing security for valuables. That’s particularly apt in accommodation establishments, with new guests constantly arriving and old ones departing. Even in stand-alone applications, it might be useful to change the access code regularly, just like you’d update your PC password. Fragram’s new range of digital safes (there are three size options) are solidly built out of steel, with a door 4 mm thick and walls measuring 2 mm. To open, simply enter the appropriate PIN code and turn the knob. Batteries are fitted to the outside of the safe, so they can be easily replaced when flat. Finish is a durable powder-coating, and mounting holes are pre-drilled on the back and bottom walls for the anchor bolts provided. The Fragram range is available from leading hardware retailers; prices start at around R540. Visit www.lgtools.co.za
