Spanning 46 billion pixels, with a file size of 194 gigabytes, an image compiled by Astronomers at Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany is the largest image of space.

The complete image, which you can see and interact with by clicking here, took five years and 268 individual images to complete. All the individual images were captured by the university’s observatory in the Atacama Desert in Chile.
