rAge is coming to Cape Town for the first time next year – and it promises to be an amazing weekend of the best and latest in video games, technology and geek culture. With more than 35 000 people visting rAge Joburg this year, Cape Town has quite a bit to live up to.

“Our aim is to deliver a rAge experience to Cape Town on a smaller scale at first, but eventually nurturing it into something enchanting in its own right. We don’t know what it’s going to look like and we don’t know who’s going to be there, but we do want it to be so impressive that even the Johannesburg crowd, who’ve grown so accustomed to rAge rolling around every year, will also want to attend,” says rAge Senior Project Manager, Michael James.

rAge Cape Town will be held at the Grand West Casino and Entertainment World in Goodwood from Friday, 18 March until Sunday, 20 March 2016. The event will showcase the latest games, comic books, digital lifestyle gear, collectible card games, and more. Visitors can also join the popular NAG LAN, where over 500 gamers will spend 52 hours gaming.

Tickets for the NAG LAN will go on sale at 9am on 28 November; tickets for the expo will go on sale on 1 December 2015. You can buy tickets for both the LAN and the expo at Computicket outlets and online at www.computicket.co.za.
