In our December magazine we showed you how the professionals do it, now see how the kids learn to race quadcopters – and they’re pretty good.
Drone Racing Africa hosted a series of two day holiday camps in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Plettenberg Bay up until 24 December. Attending children were subjected to drone pilot theory, flight simulator and practical with mini racing drones.
It’s a different experience when you embarrass yourself in front of children, especially when failing at something that seems to come naturally to them. Watch these highlights from the DRA holiday camp in Cape Town and visit droneracingafrica.com to find out when us big kids (adults) can join in the racing fun.
