Joining the littlest iPhone in Apple’s mid-term announcement is a another shrunken flagship. Last year’s iPad Pro broke the Cupertino-based company’s self-inflicted mould of screen size line-up, stretching it to a hulking 12,9-inch.
Extras like 3D Touch and the Apple Pencil we’re not getting were in tow, but the Pro will mostly be remembered for being huge. Now we have a more conservative 9,7-inch Pro which keeps everything except the 3D Touch and adds a camera bump to cater for the 12 MP iPhone unit. This is the laughably expensive iPad Air 2 successor you’ve been waiting for. RTBA, myistore.co.za
