The tongue of the Malaspina Glacier, the largest glacier in Alaska, fills most of this image. Spanning 2,3 kilometres, this image was captured by the Landsat 7 satellite on 31 August 2000. The Malaspina lies west of Yakutat Bay and covers 3 880 square kilometres.
