Game Eidos-Montréal, a division of Eidos Interactive, have teamed up with low-cost bionics company Open Bionics to design bionic augmentations inspired by their upcoming game, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
This futuristic action-roleplaying game with a cyberpunk theme focuses heavily on bionic augmentation. The game is set in 2029, two years after the preceding title Human Revolution, in a time when augmented and non-augmented humans are divided after an incident. Like many of the characters, the game’s protagonist Adam Jensen is also fitted with bionic augmentation.
In response to many enquiries about purchasing the bionics portrayed in the game’s promotional videos, Eidos-Montréal teamed up with Open Bionics, Intel and Razr to create an arm inspired by the game.
