Image having a 360-degree view of the traffic around your car without looking out of a window; or recording all angles of the aisles of your shop with the help of very few cameras. Well, if a new flexible lens is anything to go by, this idea might soon be a possibility. Researchers from Columbia University’s Department of Computer Science have fabricated a flexible lens that allows the camera to be bent in any direction. The lens then adapts its optical properties with minimal aliasing.
