The whole point of taking photos is to share them with others. In the past, this involved a fair degree of hassle, but how times have changed. Take Fujifilm’s latest long-zoom bridge camera, the Wi-Fi enabled FinePix S8400W. This little gem makes sharing your photos a breeze. For smartphones and tablets, all you need do is download the free app, and you’re good to go. You can transfer up to 30 pictures at a time and even download movies.
Once your content has been transferred, it’s easy to upload it to social networking sites. Getting your stuff on to your home computer is just as easy: simply select a destination folder, link the camera to your router, and you’re done.
Your money buys a 44x optical zoom (35 mm equivalent: 24 – 1 056 mm), image stabilisation, and a quality lens with macro functionality. Its 16 megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor captures high-quality, low-noise images at sensitivities as high as ISO 12 800.
