Disney and Lucasfilm have teamed up with Code.org so that kids can create their own Star Wars games featuring characters from the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Kids will learn to write code that moves characters, to guide a BB-8 through a space mission. Thereafter they will learn to build their own game featuring R2-D2 or C-3PO. The games will also be playable on smartphones and completely shareable.
The complete tutorial, which will be released early December, seems to work similarly to the programming language Scratch that was used during Africa Code Week last month.
