For the LOVE of turntables

LOVE is a traditional turntable concept inspired by modern technology and design aesthetic.

During its 140-year existence, the rotating platform that is the turntable has largely maintained a very specific look: think boxy and slightly elevated. Even Zenith’s mid-century modern Cobra-Matic turntable was as boxy as it was stylish.

Flash forward a couple of years for LOVE, an entire new spin on the traditional turntable created by world-renowned industrial designer Yves Béhar.

LOVE is a lightweight and completely portable turntable. Its 7-inch-wide (17,78 centimetre) base can be set down on any flat surface and doesn’t require a bulky stand. The base is not electrified and serves only as a mounting point for the player.

The player is where all the interesting bits are located. That includes an easy one-tap on/off function and track skip feature; a smart vinyl sensor capable of playing 7-, 10- and 12-inch records at 331/3 or 45 rpm, depending on the record; as well as a rechargeable battery that can play up to 15 complete record sides.

Not close to your turntable? No problem! The LOVE app allows users to interact with the player through track selection as well as volume and rpm adjustment.
