Designers, architects and office professionals who want the clarity of reproduction without the desk-space clutter are the kinds of people who have been clamouring for super-fine resolutions at comparatively modest screen dimensions. That’s why the BDM3275UP display – at 32 inches a new size for Philips Monitors with this resolution – has been launched locally. Users are promised 4KUltra-high definition (UHD) clarity for detail-rich entertainment such as movies and games, as well as for data-intensive office applications.
The new UHD monitor is the third in Philips’ ultra-high resolution range after its 28-inch and 40-inch models. In addition to its resolution capability it’s said to offer rich 10-bit colour support for natural, gradation-free colour reproduction, plus Philips flicker-free technology and an advanced IPS-AHVA panel for extra-wide viewing angles up to 178 degrees.
Connectivity options include Display Port for data transfer speeds of up to 10,8 Gbps, MHL for streaming mobile content (it will charge the mobile device at the same time), universal HDMI and USB 3.0. MultiView technology allows users tosimultaneously view streams from two devices (say, PC and notebook) in separate screen partitions.
A great picture wouldn’t be quite the same without decent sound, so built-in stereo speakers provide high-quality audio. And in case you get tired of looking at your screen from the same viewpoint for hours, a Smart ErgoBase enables it to be tilted, swivelled and lowered almost to desk level.
