Whether you’re getting ready to go backpacking or packing up a go-bag for The Day the Other Shoe Drops a key element of survival and wilderness tools is size. The smaller, the better, and multipurpose is a bonus. So how about Wicked Lasers FlashTorch Mini: a flashlight with a light so intense it can start a fire, and it’s barely over eight-and-a-half inches long.
This is Wicked’s second attempt at the flashlight/firestarter, with the original FlashTorch 40 percent larger. Made of military-grade aluminum, the Wicked Lasers FlashTorch Mini can produce 2,300 lumens, stronger than 100 old incandescent bulbs put together. The FlashTorch Mini can cook, start a fire, and crucially, be dialed back so you don’t go Cyclops on a charming woodland path.
While it’s not the strongest flashlight in the world, but it should be able to get the job done quite ably on your next camping trip.
