Harvard’s RoboBees can hover, dive and swim

RoboBees is a project that aims to advance miniature robotics and ultra-low-power computing in an effort to aid crop pollination, as the number of organic bees declines year-on-year.

In the video above RoboBees are hovering, diving and swimming during a presentation at the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems in Germany.

While the RoboBees still has some ways to go before becoming a part of our ecology, this research could aid countries where crop pollination is suffering.
