Lexus is know for their off-beat concepts, like this origami-inspired IS Sedan and the Lexus hoverboard. This time they have teamed up with the UK-based Hamilton Ice Sculptures to create ice tyres for the Lexus NX.
These hand-sculpted wheels took three months to craft using traditional ice sculpting tools and techniques. They were not only made to support the Lexus NX’s weight of 2,2 tons, but are crystal clear ice remakes of both the Lexus five-twin-spoke alloy wheel and the Yokohama winter tyre.
