It’s hard to believe that the bike market was dead on its feet just a few years ago. New models keep flooding in – and the three newcomers from Honda are sure to add spice.
The all-new CB600F Hornet is described as a performance oriented naked bike aimed at the streetfighter category. It will sell for R73 390.
A perfect fit for the adventure sports category is the latest XL700V Transalp, which gets a bold new look and a larger, more powerful engine. Pricing is not yet available.
And let’s not forget one of the company’s driving forces, racing. A limited-edition CBR600RR celebrates Honda’s domination of the World Superbike and World Super Sport Championships in partnership with the championship-winning HANNspree Ten Kate Honda team. Price: R86 999.
The livery of the Limited Edition model is an exact replica of the race bike’s. For those who prefer the stock look, there are two other colour schemes: white with black and red accents, or red with black and grey accents.
Honda South Africa has procured a limited number of the HANNspree Ten Kate replica, but expects demand to outstrip supply.
