The Dremel DSM20 tool is a versatile compact saw that uses abrasive cutting technology. This tool is designed for straight, plunge and flush cuts in wood, plastic, metal, drywall, fibreboard and tile – using the DSM20 accessory cutting set, which contains;
- 1x SM500 Multipurpose Carbide Cutting Disc;
- 2x SM510 Metal & Plastic Cutting Wheel;
- 2x SM520 Masonry Cutting Wheel;
- 1x SM540 Diamond Abrasive Wheel; and
- 1x SM600 Multipurpose Carbide Flush Cut Blade.
These accessories use abrasive wheels instead of conventional tooth bladed wheels. This means that none of the DSM20 accessories have sharp, intimidating teeth. The abrasive grit found on the edge of the wheels, combined with the high-speed 17 000-r/min rotation and the powerful 710 W motor, provides peace of mind that all the cuts can be accomplished with ease.
