Celebrate good times, come on! Am I the only one who understands the concept of celebrating a ‘birthday month’!? Surely there are others like me out there? I really don’t feel like it’s a lot to ask. It entails your loved ones, friends and co-workers making you feel extra special for the entire month in which your birthday falls – or, well, at least up until your actual birthday day. Well, it hasn’t happened yet, which probably means it never will. Truth is, why shouldn’t we be able to take just one of the 12 months available to us, to feel a little better than we usually do, for no other reason other than our arrival on Earth all those years ago? There’s certainly more than enough that happens on a daily basis to bring us down, stress us out, and make us feel unhappy. If it’s your birthday this month, have a great one! Also, feel free to distribute some blatant gift hints about the products featured in our ‘Gear and gadgets’ pages. Or, maybe someone close to you is celebrating their birthday – consider spreading the love over the rest of the year by giving them a subscription to POPULAR MECHANICS. We strive to fill the pages with fascinating articles, cutting-edge tech, answers to unconventional questions and, perhaps, information we don’t need to know about, but which enriches our lives in some small way. Till next time, when I’ll be a year older, show less
