SpaceX has become known for the weird and wonderful toys they have aboard their launches and the latest was a Baby Yoda doll.
On Sunday, November 15, astronauts Victor J. Glover, Michael S. Hopkins, and Shannon Walker of NASA, and Soichi Noguchi of Japan’s JAXA were all passengers aboard SpaceX’s Crew Dragon.

They are on their way to the International Space Station and Baby Yoda didn’t just hitch a ride for fun. The Child serves the purpose of gravity indicator. Once the spacecraft hits zero-G, the astronauts know as their plushy friend starts floating around.
Baby Yoda has shot to stardom after appearing in Star Wars series spin-off, The Mandalorian. Even those who don’t watch the series have been captured by this small Yoda.
Although not actually a younger version of the Jedi, but rather another of his same species, he has captured hearts all over the world.
The astronauts and Baby Yoda will be living on the International Space Station for six months.
