NASA’s solar orbiter has been capturing beautiful views of our universe over the last few months. The recently returned images provide an incredible perspective of our neighbouring planets.
On three missions to study the Sun in 2020, the spacecraft also caught several planets that passed into view. Since each mission had a distinct orbit their perspectives were unique.
The Solar Orbiter, Parker Solar Probe and STEREO captured the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
