This weekend a Snow Moon was visible from most places on Earth. This beautiful, big moon may or may not be a supermoon depending on who you ask, but was still one of the biggest full moons that will be able to be seen this year.
Supermoons have no set definition but are mostly considered when the Moon is at perigee, its closest point to the Earth. This moon has effects on the tides, often producing stronger waves.
People all over the world caught incredible images of this phenomenon.
