When Apple launched the second-generation AirPods, it offered customers the chance to include basic engraving on the front of the charging case. Now, Apple has expanded on that feature by allowing customers to engrave either a larger text or an emoji for no extra cost.

You won’t be able to engrave every single emoji under the sun just yet, instead, Apple is allowing customers to choose from a selection of 30 different emojis. These include a variety of different faces, four hand signs, animals such as the cat, dog, mouse, pig, cow, and rabbit. Other options include more abstract designs like the dragon, unicorn, alien, or ghost; and, of course, the beloved poop emoji.

According to 9to5mac, these other engraving options are available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and a few other countries.

One downside to this process is that you aren’t able to engrave both emoji’s and text onto your case, so you’ll have to be pretty sure with your decision before you finalise it. You will however be able to engrave both the standard AirPod case and the AirPod Pro case.
