Apple has built up a reputation for creating some of the most unique stores. From the breathtaking Apple Orchard Road store in Singapore to the Apple Jewel Changi Airport store, the tech giants certainly don’t hold any punches when designing a new flagship store, and its latest endeavor is no different.
According to documents shared by 9to5Mac, Apple’s latest orb-like store front will be located on the waters of Bayfront Avenue in Singapore, with the official opening scheduled to be announced in the next few days.
This will be Apple’s 512th store front worldwide and the third flagship store in Singapore, but what sets Bayfront Avenue store apart from the rest is the fact that it will be perched on a body of water, along with being the first Apple store to feature a spherical design, according to Slashgear.
The store will also be located a short distance from the iconic Red Dot Design Museum and the Louis Vuitton Bayfront store, which has also been built on water. As is the case with Apple store around the world, the location will limit the amount of customers allowed inside at once.
