The inaugural Comic Con Africa takes place in September this year at Kaylami Grand Prix Circuit and International Conference Center, has added two more guests to its ever growing list.

Jason Momoa was one of the first guest to be announced early this year, he plays Arthur Curry/Aquaman in last year’s DC team up film Justice League and this year’s stand alone DC film Aquaman, releasing 21 December 2018.

On the 7th June Comic Con Africa added to this guest list with the announcement of Big Bang Theory’s Kevin Sussman joining the Comic Con Africa panel and will be there for the duration of the event. Seems fitting as his character in Big Bang is the quirky comic books store owner Stuart Bloom.

The 13th of June added another big name to the Comic Con Africa celebrity guest list, Yaya Han. She is probably the most well known cosplayer to date. She is the cosplayer that put cosplaying on the map and has built up her own franchise surrounding everything that has to do with the cosplaying global community.

You’re probably thinking how could this list get any better? How about adding Comic book legends: British comic book writer Andy Diggle and Comic artist Chris Sprouse.

Andy Diggle is most well known for his Eisner-nominated work The Losers,

which was adapted to a film starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead, Supernatural), Chris Evans (Fantastic Four, Captain America), Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy Franchise, Avatar) and Idris Elba (Thor Franchise, The Dark Tower). He also worked on Green Arrow: Year One which was the base for the hit TV series Arrow. His previous work includes Batman, Superman, Captain America, Daredevil and James Bond.

Chris Sprouse has been in the comic artist industry for well over three decades. He has worked on titles such as Uncanny X-Men, The Tom Strong series, Legionnaires, Batman: The return of Bruce Wayne, Thor mini series (which as written by Jason Aaron), and spent two years on the Black Panther comic series. He also did an adaptation of the very first Star Wars novel. He spent a lot of time wth DC Comics, but has plenty of work from Marvel Studios for years to come.
