Crocs and KFC team up to create the Bucket Clog

Crocs are known for pushing the limits when it comes to what is considered acceptable design. Considered arguably the most ugly shoe in history, the brand have now taken their creativity to new heights, collaborating with KFC to make a clog that is covered in fried chicken, and smells like it too.

The KFC X Crocs Bucket Clog, a limited edition shoe covered in a fried chicken print and fixed with two drum-stick shaped charms that give off the mouth-watering oily aroma of the famous fried chicken.

“Combining the unmistakable look of our world-famous fried chicken and signature KFC bucket, with the unparalleled comfort and style of Crocs, these shoes are what fried chicken footwear dreams are made of,” said KFC CMO Andrea Zahumensky.

The limited-edition collector’s items will come in unisex sized and will cost footwear connoisseurs R892 ($59.99).

“As Crocs continues to create new, unexpected brand collaborations, we’re thrilled with this ‘bucket list’ partnership with Kentucky Fried Chicken that will bring fans an unbelievably fun and fashionable take on our classic clog,” said Terence Reilly, Crocs SVP and CMO. “We’re honoured to feature this fashion-forward style between two iconic American brands at one of New York’s biggest weeks in fashion that promises to surprise and delight consumers around the globe.”

The company will put out these interesting shoes for sale in the US spring, the South African autumn.
