Huawei Video has launched in South Africa. The on-demand streaming service offers users over 10,000 hours of content along with 30 million short video clips.
Huawei MEA Consumer Business Group VP Likun Zhao said, “We are really excited about the launch of this new product. Huawei devices not only guarantee our customers the best high-definition video experiences wherever they go but also provide them with the best content whenever they want it.”
According to MyBroadband, Huawei has added DailyMotion, Qello Concerts, The Explorers, BBC News, Toon Goggles, and Filmbox.
DailyMotion, BBC News and Toon Goggles all under the catalogue of news, factual and entertaining programmes and are also free.
Monthly subscription packages will be available and offer premium content. This will be derived from a number of partners. Content will also be designed to aligned with the South African market.
Through Huawei AppGallery, Huawei Video will be available. It will also come pre-installed on devices running EMUI 8.0 or later.
