Two-thirds into its 18-car Special GT E-type project, Jaguar pulled the plug. Half a century later, it’s a case of history in the remaking as the company’s Special Operations division prepares to build the remaining six cars of that 1963 batch. The “new” Lightweight will be the first product of Jaguar Heritage, which has been set up to offer warrantied servicing and restoration of classic models.
