There is arguably nothing more nostalgic than hearing iconic Windows sound effects. A Korean acapella group called MayTree agrees with this sentiment, so much so that they decided to recreate sound effects from older Windows operating systems, and the result is quite impressive.
In a video posted to YouTube, the five members of MayTree use their impressive skills to masterfully recreate the many iconic Windows sound effects from throughout the years. These include sounds from the different versions of the Windows operating system, to things like plugging in and unplugging USB drives, and error notifications.

While the video might be an impressive demonstration of what the human voice is capable of, it also proves that these iconic operating systems are as much of an auditory experience as they are visual.
