Crosley’s Troubadour Music Station

Date:5 August 2013 Tags:, , ,

Most music systems are intended to make you just shut up and listen. However, Crosley’s Troubadour Music Station isn’t any old sound system – it’s a delightful blend of old and new that’s bound to keep guests’ tongues wagging, even when it’s playing. For a start, it makes easy work of converting your old vinyl collection into digital files. All you need do is plonk the record on the three-speed turntable, plug in a USB stick or SD card, and hit Record. In keeping with its links to a bygone era, it also has a side-mounted cassette deck. In more upto-date vein there’s a CD player and an input for portable devices such as MP3 players. Oh, and an AM/ FM radio. Apart from stereo speakers encased in a cool retro wooden cabinet, you also get external speaker outputs and a headphone jack. Price: about R2 800. Contact The Gadget Shop on 012-346 2726 or visit
