Want to get the job done with minimal fuss or clutter? That could be the mission statement for Dell’s latest all-in-one desktop PC, the OptiPlex 3011. Designed with durability and reliability in mind, its components and assembled systems are said to be good for years of rigorous use. This PC is also highly adaptable, so it can be configured to suit your needs; for instance, there’s a choice of four processors. Hard disc drive capacity up to 1 TB is offered, with a solid-state hybrid option. Two SODIMM slots let you expand RAM from a modest 2 GB up to 8 GB. And, if the standard 50,8 cm WLED 1600 x 900 HD+ screen with anti-glare coating doesn’t float your boat, then you can opt for a projected capacitive touchscreen with glossy coating. Other features include an integrated webcam, microphone and headset line-in (for VOIP communications), 8-in-1 card reader and plenty of USB ports (two external 3.0, four external 2.0 and four internal 2.0). Prices start at about R8 100. Contact Dell on 0860 102 575 or visit
