Live Photos are one of the signature camera options on iOS, and makes your photographs look like one of the moving photographs seen in the Harry Potter universe.
iOS users, however, have always found that when Live Photos are posted on Twitter, they render as regular still photographs. This takes away the magic of using Live Photos for Apple users. Traditionally, the Live Photo has been converted into a GIF to be posted and move – but this is more work than most people want to do.
In a video published by Twitter on their feed, the app explained that Live Photos can be share by uploading this, and clicking onto the GIF option. The benefit in this is that iOS user now no longer have to leave the Twitter app to create a GIF.
Give the gift of GIFs. You can now upload your iOS Live Photos as GIFs anywhere you upload photos on Twitter. pic.twitter.com/D8TIfsBwyd
