Samsung officially launched a host of new devices, with the highlight being the new Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
The global launch happened shortly after the one in South Africa, with Samsung bringing out 5 new products that are aimed at integrating perfectly to make the “new normal” of work-from-home and work-play, effective and do-able.
“Never before have we relied on technology like we are today. It’s how we are staying connected as we navigate the extraordinary challenges faced around the world,” said Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics.
The products released included the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
This impressive line-up is all part of the new, integrated lifestyle concept being sold by Samsung which has been a major role-player during the pandemic. The company has taken on the new realities and integrated them in this line up of products. This is especially true of the Note 20 series.
“The Galaxy Note20 series is a productivity powerhouse that works like a computer and lets you game like a pro,” the company said.
During the South African launch, the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra were the stars of the show, with a quick nod to the Galaxy Buds Live.
South Africans can already pre-order either of these phones through the Samsung online store. All are priced at a premium to match their level with the Note 20 LTE being R24,999, the Note 20 5G being R27,999 and the Note 20 Ultra 5G being R36,999.
Those who order from the store before August 21 will get a R4,000 Samsung voucher to use in their online store.
