Date:25 May 2016 Author: Nikky Knijf

Augmented reality glasses  that allow firefighters to see in the dark and through smoke have been developed by researchers at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The system uses a thermal camera to give firefighters a projection of the environment – allowing them to easily orient themselves and operate their equipment.
