Microsoft celebrates 25th anniversary of windows 95 with nostalgic video

Microsoft Windows 95 was first released on 24 August 1995, and its safe to say the operating system is fondly remembered by a majority of users.

To celebrate its 25th birthday, Microsoft have put together a nostalgic video showing how the operating system has evolved over the years. As you would image, the video starts off with the iconic grey start menu button before transitioning into the four-panel design we’re all familiar with today.

The video then showcases how different Microsoft features have changed over the years, such as the Taskbar, the different recycle bins, and the always iconic Paint application. The video might only be 38 seconds long, but its a real treat to see how the operating system has changed over the years.
