Unveiled in London a few months ago, the hydrogen-powered Riversimple caused a minor sensation.
Inspired by the work of the Rocky Mountain Institute’s Amory Lovins on lightweight network electric vehicles, racing driver Hugo Spowers founded Riversimple and came up with a radical new approach to personal mobility. Key to its operations is a lightweight electric vehicle constructed from carbon composites and powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
