Cars of the future: Lexus goes to the moon

Date:28 January 2020 Author: Kyro Mitchell Tags:, ,

Despite being located 384,400 km from Earth, the moon has seen its fair share of weird cars over the years, from the soviet Lunokhod 1 rover that landed in 1970, to NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter which landed in 2009. However, despite these vehicles being packed with the latest technology for their time, they all look pretty dated when compared to modern-day vehicles. Lexus has noticed this and teamed up with a team of designers to come up with its version of what the future of ‘moon cars’ should look like.
