From mild to hot
Hints of the next-generation Aveo – it’s said to have been given a Euro influence – are contained in the RS concept exhibited at the Detroit show. It’s bigger overall than the current production Aveo, but even so, those 19-inch wheels are monstrous. The show car is powered by the 103 kW 1,4-litre I-4 Ecotec turbocharged engine that will be available in the upcoming Chevrolet Cruze. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
