They’re calling it a world premiere, though whether the rest of the world will get the Talisman is another matter altogether. Renault says the Talisman, its new flagship sedan for the Chinese market, embodies its promise of “casual luxury” that is winning over more and more Chinese customers. The car will be produced in Korea at Renault Samsung Motors and exported to China at a relatively ambitious base price of 38 652 euros. The company has big plans to increase its modest presence in China, the world’s biggest automotive market, with the goal of establishing local production.
