Subaru Tecnica International, the performance arm of the Japanese carmaker, has produced its own take on the BRZ coupe – the tS.
The BRZ is the Subaru equivalent of the car jointly developed with Toyota, which calls its version the 86. The limited edition tS focuses on handling upgrades, with no specific news as to performance in other areas. Modifications include a beefier driveshaft, uprated suspension, 17-inch Brembo ventilated disc brakes, 18-inch aluminium wheels fitted with 225/40ZR18 (92Y) Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, and a front spoiler. The car’s Vehicle Dynamics Control program has been adapted to suit. There’s also a motorsport-oriented GT package with adjustable carbon fibre rear spoiler, black BBS wheels and Recaro front seat.
