In the 96th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, history has been made. Romain Dumas has claimed the overall fastest time recorded for this 19.99km, 156 corner race. He did it in an amazing 7:57.148, smashing not only the EV record set by Rhys Millen of 8:57.118 (almost a full 60 seconds) but also the all time record by a Peugeot petrol powered car, driven by Sebastian Loeb, of 8:13.878, an incredible 15 seconds faster.
