Logitech’s Ultimate Ears range of speakers have always been amongst my favourite speakers, so when I heard that the company was releasing its new UE Boom 3 range in South Africa, I had to get my hands on one.
This isn’t a review, but let’s just say that the new UE Boom3 does not disappoint. It retains the impressive volume, clarity and rich sound found in previous generations and packages it in a sleeker, more stylish looking package than before.
Retaining its water-resistant rating (but increasing it to an IP67 rating instead of the IPX7 rating of the UE Boom 2) and unusual ability to float in a pool, the new UE Boom 3 and Megaboom 3 works best with iOS devices (but also works well with Android and others).
It has impressive battery life and huge sound that will leave you baffled as to how such a small, portable device is able to produce it without magic.
